New single Blackout out NOW!!!
Polarized Eyes are 16 and 17 year-olds Noah, Amber and Harry. The three have been friends since they met at their North London primary school and started making a noise in 2018. Their live set combines original punk, rock and alternative tracks with covers of anthems from the likes of Nirvana, The White Stripes and Yungblud.
Blackout is taking off! It was named hot one of the week by John Kennedy on Radio X's X-Posure and it's currently in the Amazing Radio Top 40! The track was written on Blackout Tuesday and is rooted in fury and frustration at the murder of George Floyd by US police officers. It's fast, it's angry and it seriously wails!
So there's no chance of gigs right now - fingers crossed for some live action by the Summer, In the meantime, stay tuned for more new music. Next up is Real Boys - a sonic rant about toxic masculinity and all the bullshit that comes with it. That's coming out in March 2021, followed by a yet to be named four track EP in early Summer.
"160 seconds of authentic, lo-fi high energy punk rock that would have put a smile on the face of their spiritual predecessor Poly Styrene of X-Ray Spex." Tom Robinson, BBC Introducing Mixtape on BBC 6 Music
